God uniquely equips us with gifts, talents, skills, and passions, and we have the opportunity every day to use our gifts to point people to Jesus! HOW CAN I SERVE?

 

  • If you love hospitality and making people feel valued, this is the perfect team for you. Help guests feel at home by welcoming them in, brewing some coffee, and connecting people with our church community.

    • Greeter Team - Say a warm hello to people coming in!

    • Usher Team - Find seats for people coming into the Worship Center

    • Brew Crew - Make some lemonade, water & coffee on Sundays

    • Bus Driver - Drive our bus Sunday mornings to provide transportation in Merced

    • Guest Center - Answer questions about Gateway to guests visiting for the first time!

    • Golf Cart Team - Give rides on our golf carts to those already on our campus

    • Safety Team - Be on the watch for safety or medical needs

  • If you’re passionate about kids learning and growing in their faith, you can have a direct impact on encouraging the next generation to connect with God by joining the Kids’ team. Roles range from behind-the-scenes to interacting directly with kids. Background check may be required.

    • Early Childhood (6wks-Kinder) Sunday Kids church, mid week programs, special events, behind the scenes, childcare

    • Elementary (1st-5th grade) Sunday Kids Church, mid week programs, special events, Summer Camp, childcare

  • If you have a heart to lead others into meaningful worship and feel you are skilled with your voice and/or instrument, we would love to get to know you! Or, if you’re creatively or technically wired, there are opportunities to use your abilities.

    Tech Team

    • ProPresenter (song lyrics/slides)

    • Sound (livestream/in-house)

    • Stagehand

    • Lights

    • Livestream

    • Camera Operator

    Worship (audition required)

    • Play any instrument

    • Vocals

  • Do you enjoy rollercoasters or connecting youth to Christ? Well if you're more motivated by the latter, then join the student ministries' team and lead a small or large group or help with preparations before or during events. There's even the opportunity to be a snack bar volunteer!

  • Do you love Jesus and enjoy giving guidance and leadership to college students or young adults? Bring your gifts to serve in this ministry and help with planning, connecting students, leading groups and attending retreats!

  • Are you gifted in photography or videography and enjoy capturing the God moments within our church & community? Volunteer your creative efforts and see God's goodness through a lens!

  • Do you enjoy talking to new people? In administration, we seek to make connections with our first-time guests and provide them the means to get further connected, as well as keep up with other office tasks.

  • Use your specialized skills and abilities to maintain and beautify our campus or assist with campus operations.
